Insure shipments based on certain criteria

A common use of the API is to insure shipments based on the Policyholder's preferences. This could mean only insuring shipments:

• Travelling to a specific destination country.
• Leaving a specific warehouse
• Handled by specific carriers
• …

To achieve this, a set of filters can be applied on the Partner Company (third party provider) or Partner Company (retailer)'s side so that only the relevant shipments are sent to Anansi to be insured. See Insuring new shipments for more information. Otherwise Anansi will only insure based on the chosen coverage ranges as a default setting.

Allow Policyholders to manually pick shipments to insure

Another use of the shipments API is to allow the Policyholder to manually select each shipment they would like to insure.

To achieve this, the Partner Company (third party provider) or Partner Company (retailer) can implement a checkbox on the Dashboard where the Policyholder can select the shipments to insure. See Insuring new shipments for more information.
